In 2020, in the midst of COVID, my husband and I decided to welcome our fifth and final child into our big, blended family.

We were in no thriving situation that supported this decision; but I could feel in my soul that everything was going to be alright.

With my $45,000 teacher salary, my husband' food and bev income, I dove off the deep end and decided to project my magic into the world.

In my first 90 days I made $10,000 online and was able to take off 14 weeks of unpaid maternity leave thanks to starting my teacher based business. 

At the time, my primary focus was helping teachers integrate engaging activities into their classroom to connect with students during the era of hybrid learning. 

I quickly realized that not only were teachers in need of technology rich lessons-- but they also needed support in integrating SEL intentionally into the curriculum and make needed validation when choosing to put connections before content.

The very thing I stood for in my classroom was what thousands and thousands of teachers across the Nation deeply needed support and guidance with and now four years later, the Kinda Sorta movement is supporting thousands of teachers each month with The Social Emotional Classroom.

I now work closely with fellow teachers who are choosing to fight the good fight. We understand burning the system down is the goal-- so my client's play their part by starting little fires everywhere from their corner of the internet.

The byproduct of speaking your truth and operating in the realm of delusion and hope will include joy you've never experienced and payouts to your bank account in amounts that you've never seen.
